Job vacancy Acute Clinical Director

Our Client hiring this leadership position is a Puerto Rican company with over two decades of experience dedicated to providing top-notch treatments for chronic kidney failure.  The company operates an Acute Program serving approximately 35 hospitals. This company has a solid team possessing a personalized and sensitive approach that gives patients the confidence to have the care of their kidney health in the best hands. The Acute Clinical Director will be responsible for directing the administration, planning, and organization of all dialysis services offered in the contracted hospitals, complying with the quality standards of the hospitals and Atlantis Health Care Group.

We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to lead and manage this program, overseeing both regular direct-hire employees and contracted staff (hospital-based nurses).

Responsibilities:

• Directs and manages the Acute Program, including supervising regular employees and contracted nurses.
• Oversees regional supervisors for different areas (east, west, metro area, etc.).
• Maintains availability for on-call duties to ensure dialysis services can be provided to patients.
• Demonstrates hands-on leadership by actively participating in program operations, including setting up infrastructure.
• Experience in building a robust department and personnel management is required.
• Possess clinical knowledge, particularly in the field of renal/dialysis.
• Reports to the organization's VPs

• Proven experience in leadership roles, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Ability to lead and manage both regular and contracted staff effectively.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of renal/dialysis procedures and protocols.
• Willingness to be hands-on and actively involved in program activities.
• Flexibility to handle on-call responsibilities as needed.
• Note: This is not a "sit behind the desk" leadership role.
