Job vacancy IT Services Director

Our client, a global leader in the service sector, is hiring an IT Services Director to serve as a liaison between procurement and supply chain. The position supervises the teams of data analytics, market intelligence, supplier registration, risk management, systems management and support.

This role is accountable for ensuring all procurement activities are in compliance with law and internal regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise procurement system management, data analytics, and support services for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with policies, Puerto Rico and Federal regulations, and audit requirements
• Develop and implement standardized procedures for system reporting, market intelligence gathering, and supplier registration
• Lead strategy sessions with procurement and supply chain leaders, acting as the primary liaison with IT for procurement systems configuration.
• Establish standardized operating procedures for support service requests and design management reports to ensure consistency.
• Set key performance indicators aligned with organizational goals and mentor staff through coaching and training.
• Evaluate individual performance, provide effective feedback, and perform storm restoration work as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration.
• 7+ years of experience with IT systems and governance within a supply chain environment is required.
• Deep understanding of principles and technicism of procurement, including purchasing, contracting, warehousing and logistics.
• CIP, CPSM Certifications nice to have
• SCMP/ PLOS/ PMP/ APICS designations nice to have.
• Direct experience with Oracle and Asset Suite procurement technology is preferred.
• Fully bilingual
