Review of Hertz - Aguadilla

To begin there was no person at the counter when I arrived to return my car. I was left to leave the keys in a box without having someone inspect the car at the time. I found roaches in the car and was later additionally charged for "excessive sand" in the car. The representative I spoke to once I arrived back at the States couldn't tell me what exactly was considered "excessive". In addition, he claimed that I was charged extra because the car smelled like cigarettes and had ashes all over the car. This I found quite odd since I do not smoke. He claimed that the charges were for extensive cleaning of the sand and cigarette smell; which I only learned once I arrived back and was billed on my credit card. Overall, the service was terrible and I was additionally charged for services that were supposedly performed; conveniently without any document proof.
